I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get the use of my javascript back until I had the money to fix my computer...if not, that's ok, too.

ok, I can click on the buttons on this forum but on some places, especially if they are javascript, they don't work for me at all. How do I fix it?

Are you sure you haven't set your browser not to use javascript? You should check your Preferences/Options. What browser and version are you using?

I'm using IE 6. I've checked and rechecked my browser settings...still nothing is working.

I'm wondering, since you say java works fine at PC but not other sites, if maybe the other sites are not using the latest version, but an older one? Have you tried asking one of the other sites, or querying the site for which it uses? IDK still trying to think on this.

In IE, check the Tools/Internet Options "Security" tab. You can use the Default level of settings, or you can choose your own settings in the Custom level. You can add sites to Trusted Sites and Restricted Sites. Maybe one or more of these would help.
