Earlier this evening, I was checking one of my posts for a reply via my Android phone and the browser gave me a notice saying that there was an app available to use instead of the browser. I had found a Psych Central app earlier, but it didn't include the forums, which was a little disappointing. This app wasn't Psych Central, but the description said it includes many many different forums. I think the name of it was Tapatalk, and if that is the one I saw earlier, doesn't look like it's a free one. Is anyone familiar with this app? Are there any free apps that we could use to check Psych Central on the go?

Here is a link to a thread about Tapatalk. There are other threads in the Search, but this one might give you the most information. I hope it helps. |

I only use the app when I want to read the latest news in mental health etc. I use my Safari and come in on a regular web page when I wish to post.

Here are a couple of threads where we've discussed Tapatalk before. They may not answer all your questions but they should give you the general idea:
Tapatalk (02-03-2012) So what is this Tapatalk thing? (10-13-2012) ------------------ eta: Looks like one of those is the same one that ECHOES linked to. Oh, well -- the other one isn't. ![]() Last edited by FooZe; Feb 25, 2013 at 11:53 PM. |
