I know this may seem trivial, but many times when I edit my writing, I'd much rather have the ability to "strike through" the words I've changed/corrected. Kind of like on blogs when people do that it shows it's been edited rather than just updating the wording without and indication.

I looked up the bbcode for strike through and I think it has to be added as custom bbcode. Is this a simple enough request to have added? I mean, it would be nice if it's easy enough for the admins to create but I understand if it's too much. It would be nice to be able to post stricken text to do this.

just wondering!

One possible workaround might be to put the no-longer-wanted text in a fainter color like this or this.

Different colors do show up differently in different appearance settings/themes/skins, though. Some of those colors might be either more prominent or almost invisible for some users.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
