I don't know . . . but every blog template I select has one of the following problems:

1. Photos attached to blog entries don't appear in archives.
2. Photos attached to blog entries don't appear in recent entries on blog's home page.
3. "Pages" don't appear as a link on blog's home page.
4. Options for "About" or "Static link" or other screwy items appear on the template's home page but the WordPress editor does not support these options.

It seems the "Default" template functions less screwy than the others. But, the default browser has a huge area wasted at the top of the page, which I think is ugly. Cool I can change it's colors but it's still ugly.

I want my blog to be artistically beautiful and not be too screwy.

Buggers!!!

I'm guess the only option I have is find plugins for the default template??? I don't even know what a plugin is . . . giggling insane.

I'm waiting for you to figure it all out before I try Buggers! PC blog templates but a plugin is like an option... but maybe an option not currently available "onsite" but something you "plug in" from somewhere else... but the option idea I think is correct.

1. and 2. -- Do you mean if you reference an image in the entry through an HTML tag, it doesn't show up unless you click on the entry?

3. -- Hmm, "Pages" should show up in every template if there is a page that is published. Pages do not show up if there are no published pages.

4. -- These are just "Pages" usually...

1 & 2. Yeah, I'm talking about .jpg inserted into entries not appearing. I see what you are talking about needing to click on titles. Maybe that's my problem? I'll have to re-check these.

3. On the BLUE-BYE-YOU 1.1 template . . . my pages that I created do not appear on this template.

4. For example, STUCCO template . . .
Lists at the top menu HOME > PAGE > LINKS > HERE
Whenever I click on PAGE, LINKS, or HERE, the URL is host's name and a directory called #.
I cannot find an option in the WordPress Editor to modify those links.
Also, there is a link category listed in the template called ABOUT but again, the WordPress Editor has no option for creating or modifying such a link or page. I've even tried creating an ABOUT page in the pages section of the editor, but it didn't work.

*** A bad example, STYLISH BLUE MODERN 1.5 template . . .
The archives only display an excerpt of the post entries. The [...] links are broken links. Duh, I see now you need to click the title to view the whole entry. Ick! Why the [...] ???

Another bugger example, BATAVIA 1.5 1.1 template . . .
The template's top menu lists MENU 1 > MENU 2 > MENU 3 > MENU 4. The WordPress Editor has no option for creating or modifying such links or pages.

Another example that confused me, BLUE-BYE-YOU 1.1 template . . .
The template top menu lists STATIC LINK > STATIC LINK > STATIC LINK. The WordPress Editor has no option for creating or modifying such links or pages.
Also, my pages that I created do not appear on this template.

Another similar problem, FADING FLOWERS template . . .
The template top menu lists ABOUT > PHOTOBLOG > WISHLIST > LINKS. The WordPress Editor has no option for creating or modifying such links or pages.

Some templates just combine my link categories into LINKS or BLOGROLL. Not nice Buggers! PC blog templates

Those are just a few of the problems. I need to go to bed now. I'll continue this post later, maybe.

Buggers! PC blog templates I do appreciate any help. I know you are busy. (((DocJohn)))

I probably won't be happy until I can insert my own image or artwork into the default template. That will take some time. So, I need to just chill.

Jennie, I've worked with WordPress through their actual site and have had no luck changing their templates. I just can't find the place to access the HTML. I don't think there is an option to do that unless you have your own blog on your own server. At least that is what I have been told.

Even with all it's problems, I still use Blogger as I can change the layout of my blog whenever I like.

I hope you find a way to get your blog looking it's best. Buggers! PC blog templates
