ive noticed that some people have cool bright exciting profiles, with all sorts of pics and so forth, but im not sure how to do that to mine? Any ideas?

first you find a picture that really feels like you,, you can find one online, hopefully, by just typing in a word in your search bar (browser bar),,, like maybe for you "bouquets, calla lilies".

when you see something you like, you right click on it and "Save AS" to your computer, "Picture Library". then you go to your home page and click on Customize Profile. down in the stacks you will eventually find: "Edit Profile Picture", click on that and a new window will open which asks you for a URL (address) of a picture. i always use "Browse", which takes me to my computer, select Picture Library from the menu on the left; select the picture you like and Click on it. it will upload to the address bar.

not done yet~! now you have to say SAVE or UPLOAD or something, i've forgotten and don't have that window open. then you wait. sometimes it takes a while for the pic to show, sometimes it's immediate.

you do the same kind of thing for an Avatar picture, only it has to be very small, 100 x 100 pixels,, so if you find a picture that you want to use but it's too large, "OPEN WITH" Microsoft Picture Manager on your computer and "RESIZE"... SAVE AS a title you can remember,,, go back to BROWSE and repeat the other steps~!

The background, text fields and all that is a bit of a PITA. If you want to change those I'd suggest starting out simple.

That's what I thought you meant. Go to your User Control Panel page and click on customize profile. Get creative
