I want to block more forums from view using the Edit Options list.

However, I do want to receive updates on the threads on which I have already posted.

Would my blocking a forum from view disable the updates?

With most questions like this, what I do is try it and see. Please do let us know what you find out.

My guess, fwiw, is that the forum-blocking feature is entirely separate from the subscription-list feature and that you will be able to see subscribed threads in your subscriptions folder regardless of which forums you're blocking.

Otoh, does using these functions eat up your data charges? Cuz something is this month, and that's the only thing I can think of that's changed.

Thank you. I will try and see. I totally agree with you, on an intuitive level. To be honest with you, though, I was hoping for a clear Yes/No answer from the site's technical support folks, who must be in the know about how the tools they develop and support work.

Confirming - your guess is right. That is how it works. Thanks.
Thanks for this!
