Which mobile devices work with chat? More specifically, does the Nintendo 3DS work? If so, how do I get on?

I don't think ANY mobile devices work with the chat. I have an I-phone and an android tablet and have never had any luck.

Realchat won't work with mobiles due to the fact it uses flash rather than AJAX for data transfer

If your mobile device supports Flash, Javascript and you're on a Wifi connection, you may be able to get the device to work for chat.

But most people have not had any luck. Sorry!

It's because flash ports on mobiles afaik don't support socket handling.

If anybody wants to port a C#.Net chat client project to compile in Mono it'd work on mobiles..

Alas my PC is dysfunc atm - currently on forum via phone
