On Saturday morning, we will be rebooting our community servers, which haven't had a reboot in over a year(!). It should help clear out some cruft that's making things a little slow this week and free up the memory stack.
The reboot should happen sometime between 6:30 and 7:30 am ET and the downtime is estimated to be less than 20 minutes. Also, later this summer (probably end of August), both our front-end and backend servers for the community will be replaced by shiny new servers. Thank you for your patience. DocJohn

Peoples, relax.
![]() When a server, like a computer, is running, it brings things/folders (program stuff) out of the hard drives (filing cabinets) and puts them in the RAM (like on a big desk) so that the stuff in the folders can be gotten to more quickly than going back to the filing cabinet. When a reboot occurs everything is put back into its proper place on the hard drive (filing cabinet) and then the computer/server shuts down. When the computer/server is turned on again, it goes to the hard drive (filing cabinet) and gets the information (folders) it needs to do what it needs to do and puts them in the RAM (on the desk) for easier access. Nothing in the folders has changed, but all the old folders that were laying open (but un-used) on the desk (in RAM) have been filed back in the filing cabinet so that the desk (RAM) isn't all messy and cluttered. As a result of having a clean desk (RAM) the computer can find files and operate more efficiently and faster. ![]() Just my understanding, ![]() GreyWolf
