I'm far from a newbie in the social media....was an earlier chatter when there were moderators, limits to room size.....the dark ages. I'm older than I was then and my interests have changed and most forums I go to have avatars. I'm avatar stupid. At the risk of sounding like a simpleton, can someone point the way to a quick, easy source of avatars and how to use them. Thanks ever to much.

We have an avatar collection that you can choose from. After you have a certain number of posts (10, I think), you'll also be able to upload an avatar of your own.

To access the page where you select or upload an avatar:

1. Locate the My Profile link at the upper left of any forums page.

Hello! need help with avatars

Click on it and it'll take you to the User Control Panel page.

2. In the left column, under Settings & Options, find the Edit Avatar link and click on it (see attached picture).
