Can we have an "open to" option in addition to the ignore feature. Adding people to my ignore list is becoming a PITA.

Kind of defeats the purpose of being in a community, if you're looking just for a "whitelist" of people you want to interact with. I think that's what social networks like Facebook and like offer -- we're not that and have no interest in becoming that, sorry.
