I see "hugs" on profiles - what is this and how does it work?

Hi Redd,
On the bottom right of each post is an icon that says hugs. If you click on it, you can give a virtual hug to the poster.... Sans |

In addition, the hugs number on the profile indicates the number of hugs you've given in total.
