I did clear the browser first. When I drop into a chat, I can say Hi, hit send, ok, but when I type the first letter of the second response, the font suddenly changes and freezes. This has not happened before. 'Hope someone knows the solution! Thanks, "help................"

I posted on 7/30/13. I'm trying to send messages during chats. After sending the first message, typing does not appear in the next reply message. I cleared the browser. Help!

using windows 7 - cable internet connection.....(maybe I need a refresh signal from them). I've cleared the browser history as directed and cache....is it possible to access psychcentral.com in some other way to avoid a tech issue with typing freezing during chat, disenabling the send message? I really need this today.

I hardly ever chat and know very little about chat problems myself. Here are DocJohn's suggestions for what to check when there are problems:

Chat Room Technical Requirements - Forums at Psych Central

Some more general troubleshooting suggestions here:

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I did switch to Google Chrome and the problem was not there..it must have been from IE. I appreciated the links, too!
Cheers,
