Unless I'm missing some thing, usually the ignore thread is under thread tools and I don't see it there. Why is there no thread ignore feature? Can we may be add it?

Yeah... I sorta wish that I could ignore the threads started by the people that I put onto ignore, and not just have their posts in it minimized. haha.

But then there's the chance that people would miss rather good threads sometimes.

Well there are gonna be threads that for whatever reason, your not gonna be interested in. And without the ignore thread feature u have to click on it to make it go away otherwise stair at it every time you click on new posts. This is a great forum but I really think a thread ignore would come in handy for a lot of people.

How can you tell if a thread is interesting or not w/o reading it? And not to be critical but why do you stare at threads you don't find interesting? Just curious.
Blocking forums works for me. Any thread in a forum I don't have blocked is potentially interesting or helpful.

well for example, I'm not particularly interested if a woman has oder around her chest no matter how interesting the thread may be

Likewise, I'm prolly never gonna read religious or anti-religious threads, or threads on topics that will never interest me.

Nor will I read threads about womens issues.

So you can see for some of us any ways, we know which threads we want to skip no matter how interesting they might be.

I don't want to block a whole forum, just ignore certain threads. Otherwise they keep reappearing on new posts and u have to keep clicking on them to make them go away or just put up with seeing them each time.

Okay... are you interested in other sexual matters? If no then block the entire forum. Block the womens forum. Block all the religious forums. I don't understand why you wouldn't just block the forums but if you don't want to block forums then you are just going to have to skip over what doesn't interest you.

yes I know, but we really could use a thread ignore too.

How about it mods? Pretty please?

We will consider it as a future feature enhancement, but not at this time. Thanks for your suggestion!

Thank you, also keep in mind that a thread ignore would also help members avoid some threads that trigger them. It might only be a couple of threads that could be from any forum, perhaps just the title is a trigger. I'm sure if you give a thread ignore idea some thought you will see the many benefits for it.

Thanks you for the consideration.

I just recently found out that someone put me on their "ignore" list. I wonder why? This annoyed me so I put them on mine too (never did that before). Just wondering why would someone do that? I didn't offend them that I know of. I sent them a PM to apologize if I offended them somehow but I don't think they ever got the message. This is strange to me, unless they know who I am? That scares me. I hope not. Don't know what to think.

If you are on their ignore list then they did not get your message. People have reasons only they understand for putting a member on ignore. Sometimes we may not think it seems like a good reason but it's valid to them. Try not to let it bother you.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
