When I began coming to these forums the Daily Mood had many, many descriptive words to describe our moods. Now there R only a few words in the
daily mood. Where did all the other words go?

I think two different things are being confused here.

DailyMood has always had 5 feeling states associated with it. It appears in the blue menu under your Private Messages notification on the default template. (If you're not using the PC default template, it may not appear.) It is a quick way to note your current daily mood, and to track it over time.

The "My Mood" is the list of dozens of different emotions. That also appears right under your Private Messages notification -- UNLESS you have unread notifications. Then it disappears. It can still ALWAYS be accessed by clicking on "My Profile" (http://forums.psychcentral.com/usercp.php) and using it from that page. (You may have to scroll down a bit to see it if you have a lot of subscribed threads.)

PS - We also have a more in-depth mood-tracking app here if you're interested:

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
