i surely do hope not~! the old chat has some very nice features, like: being able to read rapid chats' having a separate chat window; having the "Who's In Chat" list off to the side also; like not having the smileys moving~!; like being in white instead of black; having a type enter window big enough for a whole thought; whisper and private chat; a host of features i don't find in the new chat.

Yes, I've said all along we are retiring the old chat rooms. They will be closed within the next day or two.

The new chat rooms will open in a new window like the current chat, have a Who's in Chat list too, and yes, it has smilies, etc.

As for layout issues, those can be tweaked as we get more feedback in the feedback thread specifically setup for that very purpose. Thanks!

Ive never chatted before, so i went on and chatted with myself. Anyway fyi i am on a phone but i think the mobile didnt work for me, but the regular chat link did (in the announcement) so im cool.
