I have read everything and apparently I am missing something...

I can't find how to add a photo to my signature block.

Also when can I change my avatar to something original and not one in the list?

I just figured the avatar part out myself. When you see the list of avatars they suggest go UNDERNEATH the list. you can then either pick an avatar link from another site, OR you can upload a picture you want to use as an avatar. I just did it after wondering the same thing for WEEKS. My current avatar is my cat Richie when he was about 9 months old.

Thanks!! Now I don't know how to add them to people's walls...or whatever they are called...

If you upload, photos, to your albums, you can use bbcode, to copy paste into signature.
Walls, accept bbcode, for instance, websearch welcome bbcode, find a site, copy paste.

Others may have other means.

I don't know bbcode... I don't understand all that stuff... I DID figure out that to post pictures in the forums you need to go to advanced options and either select the icon for posting a link to a picture on a site OR select below under manage attachments to be able to brose your pictures and add a picture to your post in the thread you are posting on.
