Hi guys, I'm new on here, but I have a basic question. Every time I try creating a new thread, I click "post" and it redirects me to the main forum page, telling me my post is awaiting mod approval. If it's approved (and it should be, I'm not a troll/spammer) how will I find the link/URL to my thread? Will it be emailed to me? I've posted two threads now, and I have no way of locating them, or if they've even been approved. If a mod sees this, *please* let me know how I can locate my threads and what's happening.

Hi, thisseatofmars, welcome to Psych Central!

Right now you have four approved posts and none awaiting moderation. If you're reading this reply, you've already found one of your posts. There are several ways to find the rest. For instance, if you click on your username at the left of your post, you should get a pulldown menu. Clicking on the option "Find more posts by thisseatofmars" will get you a listing of your posts. If you don't have one of your own posts handy, click on your username at the top right of any forums page ("Welcome, thisseatofmars.") That'll take you to your profile page. Under the Statistics tab, there's also a link for finding your posts.

You might also be interested in this tutorial: Subscribing to Threads You're Interested in Following. It tells you how you can keep track of everything you've ever posted and see if there have been any new replies to threads that you've posted in.
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
