Okay, I know it's probably very stupid question but I am somehow confused and still haven't found the way to enter any of the "special" chats...

I'm in Europe and I've realized that it is 6 hours difference between my time zone and "yours".

For instance for Q&A chat with DocJohn:

In the community calendar it is written that it takes place every Wednesday from 3 to 4. I guess that it is either my time zone or "yours" but I was checking the whole day and I haven't figured out how to enter this chat. Is it the same place as for other chats (e.g. lobby, coffeehouse etc)? From the community calendar I couldn't have entered it and in the evening (so after 4 your time zone) it just disappeared. In the community calendar there was a link http://forums.psychcentral.com/chat/ but when I clicked, I was directed to the main page. I was checking that every hour (half past) so even if I got the time zone wrong, I guess I should have managed to find the right time...

There is also written: "This event was posted for time zone so it will appear to occur on a different day on your calendar." - it surprised me as it is only 6 hour difference and I got an e-mail which said that within 25 hours the chat will take place - just in case I've tried also a day before but it didn't work neither...

Sorry I guess, I'm just too stupid for this (maybe it's just an anti-stupidity filter )

the "Hosted Chats" are shown in your time zone on the calendar, if you have set your time zone on your personal page. you have to enter the Lobby, or one of the set rooms, and from there, use the top space to move to the Special Room.

it might be good to practice moving from room to room before the pressure of entering a timed chat

Ok, so right now in my time zone it is Wednesday 3:12 pm (this time is also shown on PC)
According to the calendar, Q&A chat should take place now; however, as in the announcement of this chat it is written that it actually takes place on Tuesdays, it is possibly that right now LGBT chat takes place (according to the announcement it takes place on Wednesdays while in my calendar it shows on Thursdays). Actually it does not matter because now I cannot enter any hosted chat... I can enter all other chats, I went to Lobby etc. but either using chats is too complicated for me or it doesn't take place now... :frustrated:

by my calculations, the Q&A with DocJohn would take place at 3 a.m. on Wednesday, your time. you can only enter Hosted Chats while they are taking place, the rooms evaporate after the chat is over. but you can practice if you see a "member created room",,, the site has been having a lot of trouble with those, so it's not just you~

Isn't DocJohn's hosted Q & A chat held in the Auditorium? If so, that room is always available from the chat drop down on PC. If you are entering using your Iphone or using tapatalk, I can't help you with that, I'm sorry.

I had trouble getting it to work also. I went to the correct chat rm (audirorium) but there was no chatting going on. It showed that there were people in the room but chat was not visible to me.
