one time I had bald spots turned out to be a vitamin deficiency so mine would have fit in with eating disorder/health support boards.
I know some people have pattern baldness due to pulling their hair out, twirling hair and other OCD, trichotillomania which would be covered by those boards. I know some people with alopecia which is a physical health issue so they get support through physical health websites... it may also fall into the emotions board if going bald due to aging, health issues or pulling ones own hair out causes a person any strong emotions like anxiety, anger what ever... just suggestions on where you might find some help while waiting for a baldness board.... |

Baldness is not a mental health issue. While low self-esteem or self-image problems may indeed be related to baldness, we already have forums that cover these more general topics, such as:
Steps to Better Self-Esteem - Forums at Psych Central You are welcomed to start specific threads on this topic in a forum such as that. Best, DocJohn

You may also want to consider starting a social group for those struggling with hair loss.
