I am sorry if I missed this somewhere but am having a hard time finding information. I noticed that this has shown up on my profile page as something that our names could be given to; it automatically checked "yes" unless changed to "no" on my profile page. I just happen to come across this and don't understand what it is.
To make a more informed decision, what is this Society of Participatory Medicine? Thanks in advance for any replies and info. ![]()

I haven't edited my details in a while, but you're right, it's there, and it's set to yes my default.
A little web searching... Society for Participatory Medicine I've browsed their site and I'm still confused. :/ |

Evidently it's a patient advocacy and education organization.
What is disturbing is that I don't recall any posting or information from PC stating that this would be a default opt-in on our profiles- that should be perfectly clear. But it's not. |

Sorry, that was something we haven't yet implemented but was accidentally shown... a free 1 year membership in this advocacy organization for empowered patients.
