I have problems in posting pictures in my posts and PMs. I can copy a picture from Internet, but if I try to copy a photo that I have on my desktop nothing happens. And with my phone I can neither copy a photo from Internet .
If I click on the 'mountain' in the toolbar it says 'please enter the URL of your image'...what does it mean?
Tell me if I have to write other information...I read the FAQ, but I'm not very expert about computer and I don't understand very well which information I have to write
(If I go on in this way maybe I'll become the member with more technical problems...I could win a praize )

pictures on your hard-drive, or desktop, must be uploaded into a PC Album before they can be posted elsewhere on the site.

then the URL (web address) will appear as your PC album number.

I think with photo's ...to upload from your computer it can be saved to a file and then chosen from there. From a smart phone...if you've taken a picture, at the top (usually) of your screen click on the little icon that looks like a tinkertoy....then you can choose a method to 'send' it to your email. From email, you can save to a file and repeat as necessary.

This is only if you don't have access to your computer at that moment. Otherwise connect your phone to the computer using the cord plugged into the usb port on your computer and download it that way.

I'm not brill about computers but I've managed to fight my way thru most of the confusion lol Hope this helps some

I tried to put in an album the photo that I have on my phone and then to take it from the album with computer and PM it, and it worked . It's a bit long, but better then nothing. Thanks to you both

Not sure what you did, but did you try emailing it to yourself?

In an album? Can you save it to a regular file folder, rather than an 'album' folder?

Ahhhh Not sure it will help but if you create a file on your desktop and save it to that, you might have better luck. If that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas, sorry.

You could message the tech forum for here...they might be able to help you more.

Could perhaps the problem be, for some of us on, e.g. Ipad, tablets, that such devices do not allow the copy and paste of images into the program here? Been wondering, as I have had no success also.

That's a good thought PoorPrincess.....I hadn't considered that. I didn't have much trouble but I'm on a PC, also.

When I tried to send a photo with a PM and it wasn't visible for my friend I used computer...
Well, it's not so important, I just wanted to try...but I'd like to learn. Please, if somebody is able to send photos with PMs, with computer or phone, write how you do! Thanks to you who answered

If I want to upload a photo from my computer I go on Tinypic and upload it on there then just copy and paste the link, Not sure about phones as I never use mine on here.
