Is there a way that a mac can automatically find printer and locate device drivers for it? If so how? I thought the newer os could do so, anyone know?

Did you go to your print setup utility? (Applications -> Utilities -> Printer Setup Utility ). You can add your printer from there.

yes but I do not have the drivers and finding them has turned into a pain in the neck so I wondered if osx had the capacity to directly recognize and find the best driver? Oh well, I will do it manually when I feel like it. Thanks.
