When I want to send a message to a friend's profile page, the strangest thing happens. The reply box already contains a complete copy of the last message I wrote to the friend. To get rid of it so that I can post a new message I have to hit "Control A" which highlights the post and then delete it. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how to fix it? The extra steps are time consuming and frustrating. Am I making sense? TIA for any help.

hi greylove, had you actually sent the last message or written it without sending?
this is one of the new enhancements John mentions here

Hi tigergirl. I had written and sent the last message at least the day before; often much further back. This is happening with all the friends I want to write to. These aren't PM's.....they're messages on their walls. (The PM enhancements are wonderful, BTW.) There are two other glitches on my profile page but they're complicated. I have to figure out how to describe them. These problems surfaced at the same time of the changes to the PM's. I'm mystified.

Maybe clearing out your cache and cookies and stuff will help with this issue.

I am having this problem in social groups, too. I'll see about your ideas, sabby.

Thanks Sabby! I enlisted my husband's help to clear everything out and it worked!
Thanks for this!
