OK - I am having a frustrating problem with my IE and I will try to explain it as best as I can.....

The basic problem is that I cannot keep any add-on's working and/ or running in my IE - (7.0)

I have downloaded a few extras to my computer and they seem to have worked at first and then after about 2 or 3 days and after I had logged off for the night and shut everything down - they were GONE.

I can still see them on my Add/Remove list in the Control Panel, but I cannot get them to show up on the IE toolbar, nor can I click on the "Manage Add-on's" from my Tools.
Plus, the Information Bar keeps saying: IE is running with add-ons disabled and yet I cannot get them to ENABLE - heck I cannot even locate the enable link any more.

I have to run an add-on before it will reinstate then all again.... then they will work again, but as soon as I close my IE down - it goes back to not working, therefore, not letting us open up some websites and game site that we often play online.

Any SUGGESTION? - HELP!!! - for this is driving my crazy....... IE Problem - with Manage Add-ons IE Problem - with Manage Add-ons

Thanks...

or alternativley if you are running xp you can click start, set program access and defaults, there are 3 choices, microsoft windows, non microsoft and custom, chose custom, on all the options buttons click use current option,( the top one of the two) and then click enable access to the programs (opposite current option button) so that a tick appears in the box, then at the bottom of the page click ok.

this should restore your settings to be able to work the manage addons options button on your ie7 toolbar then follow the instructions from my first post and it should be saved automatically every time you exit and restart the browser.
