i have noticed that private chats can be kind of wonky. one i saw stay open for 3 days, even when no one was in it. today i found out that the room creator can put messages in the room that look like they are 'official', but are just jokes. sometimes not very funny jokes, either.
remember that old saying: don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you read

There are no "official" chat messages or announcements made in chat. Ever.
If a member is doing that, or making it seem official, please report them to me privately. Thanks.
