When I try to do so on a post the bar below it showing who has done so before disappears, as well as the button to give the post a hug or thanks. Why?! General information: I use an apple device, iOS 6. I used to be able to give hugs and thanks before but now I can't for some reason.

Edit: I can't change my update on my profile either. (The sentence/s below my avatar)

basically, once you have 'given' the hug or thanks, the button disappears, that's how you know you've done it, and can't do it again and again. sometimes there is a delay in the 'notification' showing up at the bottom of that post. check your home page to see if your number of "hugs given" has gone up. if you don't see that, open 'Customize Profile', go to Options and scroll down til you see "Enable Likes Notifications" (if i'm not mistaken). it's the old language that has not been updated, i believe. that should put a little title bar under your avatar or Profile Pic, saying how many 'Hugs' you have given. there is nothing for 'Thanks', that i know of ... someone please correct me if i'm wrong.
