I'd like a subforum for psychotic depression under the Depression forums. Because for some of us it's mostly a symptom of depression. But it doesn't really fit into the regular Depression forum, and not really into the Pyschocis forum because it's really about depression.

They won't even give a subforum for Complex PTSD under the PTSD forum so do not hold your breathe with that one.

When a child’s emotional needs are not met and a child is repeatedly hurt and abused, this deeply and profoundly affects the child’s development. Wanting those unmet childhood needs in adulthood. Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors. |

I see there's a new Complex PTSD forum, but not one for psychotic depression. Is there going to be one or not?

Not at this time, sorry. Not enough threads in the regular depression forum to justify the creation of such a subforum. You're welcomed to start a social group instead.
