I want to post on to moodswings*dot*ne*tdot*au which is Aust/amrciacn study about self help CBT websites. This is a genuine academic study.

My uneducated guess is it is against community guidelines if you were posting the link with the intention of soliciting psych central members to participate in the study.

No, that's correct. We're a support community, not a place to help researchers garner subjects for their studies (no matter how well-intended). Psych Central has a database of research studies on its website, so if someone wants to participate in a research study, they can consult that database.
