I get a malware warning on page 2 of the Christmas Bears Thread. I can go to page 1 and 3 without problems. That's a Coffee House Thread.

Hey Iowa

That is a bit concerning. I hope someone can look into that or explain how that happened.

It's because members are linking to graphics on websites that contain malware.

You should ALWAYS know the reputation of the website where you find an image or graphic you want to link to. If in doubt, CHECK IT OUT FIRST before linking to an image on a questionable website. How?

Well, if you're using Google's Chrome browser, it does it for you automatically. If you're using a different web browser, you can always run a quick check on the site in question at a service like this:

Sucuri SiteCheck - Free Website Malware Scanner

Yes, this requires ALL of our members to be vigilant and responsible. Which is what we expect, since malware remains a significant problem on the Internet today.

The replies to the thread that were causing the problem have been removed.

i use a free web consumers rating service along with my Google Chrome, because i paste so many pictures. it runs in the background and shows a little round icon on every picture.

i hope we can all avoid those who have nothing better to do than mess with other people's happiness~

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
