I have an issue with being ganged up on in chat..and I'm not the only one. I've reported who I think was the prime offender, but can more be done to prevent this?

This is disturbing. I don't frequent the chat rooms. So I have no experience with this. It does sound as though this is an issue that should be addressed. I'll be interested to read other replies to this Thread you may receive.

It is true....I have seen this happen and it has bee done to me. I stopped going into chat. It is not what it used to be. Seems to be a lot of bullying and pushing people around.

This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.

Folks, it's against the guidelines to talk about other members here like this.

If you have a specific concern, you need to bring it to a moderator or administrator privately (in a PM), along with a chat transcript. When we see bullying behavior or other behavior that goes against the community guidelines, the perpetrator gets a warning. If they get more than one warning, they get suspended from chat for a time.

Chat is a community privilege and if certain members are abusing this privilege, it will be removed from their membership with us.

Thanks,
DocJohn
