I have been thinking of getting tapatalk for a while but I only post here and opinions are wanted. Is it worth downloading or should I just struggle with my iPad?
I just read so scathing reviews on the App Store. Are these justified? |

I didn't like it myself when I used it, but others may find they do
I prefer just using safari to access PC

The latest update ruined it. It's easier to use a web browser now, unfortunately.

It takes time to get used to it. But I do like it, except for the trigger icon is not there. Play around with it and see if you like it. You can always uninstall it if you need to.

I also don't like the latest update. It is confusing to use now. But I wouldn't be able to access PC from my phone without it. So I struggle on.

Your feedback is important, but is lost being posted here because the developers of the Tapatalk app will never be reading all the forums their app accesses. Instead, I encourage you to leave your feedback as a review for the version of the app you're using:

I use and like it for a quick glance at what's going on. I use it to post quick replies but I still use my computer for most of my input, because I have so many more options, plus it's easier on the eyes.

It's okay for a quick glance, but I do wish I could roll back to an earlier version. The latest one I installed has ads that take up too much screen real estate. I use it on my phone, but would rather use the browser on the iPad.

There are earlier versions circulating in the complaint threads of Tapatalk Community. I downloaded a couple of older versions which are a huge improvement. I can't use my computer because it finally died, and anyway it's too hard to see now. I can hold my phones a few inches from my eyes. :/

I'm going to give it a try today. I can't imagine how it can be more convenient than just coming directly to the site, though. I guess I'll see.
