I am typically the sort of person who would make the most stupid kind of mistake out of distraction and then fret about it forever. I am new to this but I suppose there is no way of editing my own messages? I was trying to introduce myself and now I have a bunch of people offering me support for a condition that I don't have, and I'm embarrassed... Don't ask me how it happened, I've no idea why I overlooked that. How long is it before one's message gets approved if one is a new member? Seems like everywhere I go there is chaos

As a new member, your first 5 posts are moderated and wont show immediately. You have 5 posts now so you should be good to go. You are able to edit your post only for a certain number of hours after posting (think 4), thereafter, you would have to contact a moderator to edit for you.

Welcome to the forums.

adding to Sabrina's answer...

I've "reported" - little red triangle to the left of your post - and asked to have typos fixed. Mods have been great taking care of what I ask. I only do this if the window for me to edit has passed.

Hey Visje, just a drop by to welcome you to PC
And please try not to be embarrassed by mistakes on here, we tend to be a very understanding, non-judgmental bunch on here
And you're putting this one right anyway!!!
But hey, don't forget everybody (including us lot!!! ) are going to make mistakes from time to time, so no problem...........and welcome to the family!!!
