The system wont let me PM someone who I've been looking for more than 35 years and now that I found them, I have to post 3 or more posts?? How stupid.... here's one......

yes, you have to post three posts to send a pm. why dont you go to the games section. it is a simple way to post quickly or even New Member Introductions and introduce yourself and welcome a new member and you will have this criteria met. I am happy that you have found your friend. welcome to psych central. you will find we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome
