I have moved around to other sites on my internet & they aren't slow like PC has been this afternoon. I go to post a reply & I can go away & come back & the little thing is still spinning around telling me it's connecting.....it doesn't time out like usual, but it's really slow today.....is there some work being done of PC or an overload (wouldn't think of a Friday afternoon) but just wondering...as I'm thinking it's not my computer but I never know.

I am sorry you are having slow response time. I am a volunteer and not aware of the inner workings of the PC website. I have not had this experience Friday.

I usually reboot my computer when I have problems. Windows and memory allocation can be difficult.

Thanks, I thought it would be across the board if it was my computer which was why I was wondering.....LOL...I have some other things up even though they aren't running at the moment which is why I was trying to NOT shut down my computer right now & have to get back to where I was in those areas....but will reboot as soon as I get to a good stopping place on my other projects.

Always if everything else fails....reboot usually solves the problems...that is sooooo true.

sorry response for you is slow on here at the moment.

i hate when it happens, i get so annoyed with the site.

Eskie, I was having the same problem yesterday. Response at PC was s-l-o-w, but other sites were fine. So it wasn't just you.

Thank you LL for letting me know you were having the same problem & that it wasn't just me or JUST MY COMPUTER.

Shattered Sanity....I don't have the problem often which was why I was wondering & said something......thought maybe there were a huge number of people on yesterday around that time or something.....or I thought maybe there was some background work being done.

I have an antique desk top computer from back around 2006 that I've been nursing along after my lap top died. Sometimes my internet system gets slow also.....living in the country, we have a system that is transmitted to antennas on our homes from the top of the water towers & we never know if they are doing work on the system either. There are always so many different possibilities as to why things seem to get bogged down.....even my cell phone service is slow lately. I will choose a number from my contact list to call & my phone sits there for minutes doing what seems to be nothing......slow is so aggravating....amazing how we want everything to happen RIGHT NOW.....thinking back to how slow everything was when I was growing up, even our slow now is faster than what the systems were then.....but when it's slow, it's really obvious & annoying to feel like I'm sitting there forever just waiting for the stupid computer (or phone) to do what it's been told to do.
