Is there a way to stop certain people seeing my posts/threads? Does putting them on ignore list achieve this? If not...is this something that could be changed?

No, they have to ignore you for that.

AFAIK there is nothing in the software that allows that...and even if they put YOU on ignore, there is an option to "view post" at each posting you make.

there is no way around this. My understanding is that the site is purposely set up so that when someone blocks/ignores someone it only prevents ....you ....from seeing their posts. the blocking (ignore )feature is meant to protect you while not punishing/preventing others from full use of the site.

yes anyone can read all the posts even when not logged in. my understanding of this is that the site is set up this way so that others can find the site through google/other search engines (just like you were able to find the site).

not sure but having the site open to everyone might also be in part why the site can be offered for free, meaning theres no cost for registering/membership or viewing like some other sites are. the site gets paid for by people seeing the site and wanting their ads on the site.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
