Hi, there.

What are updates, and how does one go about adding them?

Thank you for reading.

Kind regards,
Lexa.

Are you speaking about updates to something on Psych Central, or to software on your computer?

Very often software manufacturers offer updates when they find problems with their software, or just when new features are available. Sometimes the updates are free, sometimes not. Sometimes you can find whether updates are available right from the software itself, or you can go to the manufacturer's Web site to see if any are offered.

If you are talking about the 'updates' on Psych central, you go to your profile page, at the top where your name is displayed there will be, '(Your name) Has no updates' click 'edit' and type in whatever you wish. Then click 'edit' once again and 'BAM' you got an 'update'
I hoped this helped,
Example: Mine says 'Oh dear, have i gone mad?'

There are many types of monsters that scare me: Monsters who cause trouble without showing themselves, monsters who abduct children, monsters who devour dreams, monsters who suck blood... and then, monsters who tell nothing but lies. Lying monsters are a real nuisance: They are much more cunning than others. They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they've never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them... because in truth, I am that monster.

If you mean on PC, it's supposed to be like on Facebook, which I'm not on. The concept is the same I believe: An update to what you're doing, where you're going, if you'll be away from PC, etc.

Or you can just not put anything, and it will say "Has no updates."
