One site that I visit often has had this for a long time: when you go to its login page, the cursor is automatically inserted into the name or ID field. I notice that Facebook has started doing this too. How about asking the programmers here to set that up the next time there is an upgrade to the PC software?

I am automatically logged in when I visit. Is that an option for you?

I don't know. I don't think I want to be automatically logged in.

you can make your own computer do this. its part of your windows settings. go into your settings and mark the one that says "auto fill" (I didnt type out the whole selection because some computers ask something like do you want autofill turned on, other windows operating programs word it differently. the key is look for the words "auto fill" check that then save settings. then do the same for the selection in windows settings that asks if you want passwords saved.
then every time you come to psych central all you need to do is click in the spaces that ask for your user name and password, windows will automatically fill those spaces in then you click log in. |

I use a Macintosh, so do not have Windows! My browser does have Autofill, but I have never used it. I would have to learn. Interesting suggestion.
