i think i posted this before, but not many people saw it.

apart from via your posts, is their any other way to update your status?. (for example through your profile)

the link below my name that says edit never works for me, and i would really love to start posting statuses here

click on your name on any post you have wrote, that brings you to your profile, then click on edit under your name. (clicking edit on the status line either while on the boards reading a post you have wrote or by profile edit button on status line is the only ways I know to do it.) I always thought they were the same edit link
