I have noticed this template error for a while now and thought it should be brought to the attention of a person or persons who can fix it.

The error is the icon display for Skype under the member's name (along with badges, post count etc.) that shows up as a small blank white box with an "X" through it followed by text that says "Send a message via Skype to Username" (with Username being the screen name of said member).

I use the default beige and blue forum skin, and haven't checked to see if this occurs in any other skin.

It's a relatively minor bug, and I can certainly live with it. I just wanted to make the staff aware of it should the need arise.

I just clicked on mine and it took me to the Skype sign in page. I have 5 friends here that I skype with. I just clicked on their Skype icon and... nothing. Good catch there.

Well, for those that do, its a problem.

This feature was removed as the forums no longer support Skype active icons. Sorry.

You are, of course, welcomed to exchange Skype information via PM (or put it on your profile if you feel comfortable sharing such information publicly).

Agreed, you should be comfortable and prepared if you share that publicly. I've had a lot of strangers ask me to add them as contacts. Only one had a legitimate reason.
