I'd like to post pictures but my computer doesn't like the URL method. Under editing my signature, I found this:

You may upload a new custom image using the controls below.

Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website

Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 600 by 150 pixels or 195.3 KB (whichever is smaller).

Can I use this "option 2" when posting a pic in normal threads and posts? If so, can you tell me how?

You have the option of creating albums in which you can store images. Do that. Create an album. Upload an image to that album. That will get your image a URL. The URL will be http://forums.psychcentral.com/pictu...ictureid=xxxxx
Use the BB code... copy and paste it into your post. That's it

You can add pictures to posts in one of two ways: as an attachment to the post or thread (you can't use the Quick Reply button in order to do this, just use the normal Reply button). Or the way George suggested, by first uploading it to your album. You can create a new album here:

http://forums.psychcentral.com/album.php?do=addalbum

Add your images to the new album, then you can copy and paste the URL from the photo to your post.

Experimenting:

When I do as suggested, I get a pop up that says I must OK an intranet connection that is less secure than the norm. It then asks if I only use internet sites. If so, it recommends I decline the connection. I do that and I'm back to square one. Must I OK this less secure connection?

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
