This has been covered many times... as recently as last week. Do not use youtube's share button. That will get you a clickable text link to the video. Copy the url from your browser's address bar. Paste that into your post. Done.

I don't see the BBCode option to embed YouTube videos when using the full (advanced) reply screen. So, my conclusion would be that it's not an option as of now on these forums.

Yes, I tried it in the OP's thread and it doesn't work. I assume the software has been altered to prevent embedding vids outside the vids forum. So... go the the vids forum Jay and have fun embedding vids to your heart's content
 .
