I need help with deleting my user name.

I wrote about feeling worthless and devastated and so many people read it but ignored me and I just feel horrible and cannot delete my account. Please do not sweep this under the rug too and act like I don't exist. i have been having feeling that i don't deserve to exist and it makes it worse. i just need to be gone from here.

If you are talking about the thread you started on the psychotherapy forum. You only left your post up 20 minutes before you deleted what you wrote. Your other threads were all replied to. I hope you'll consider staying and allowing more time for people to read and decide if and how to respond. I was one of the people who didn't get to your thread until you had deleted whatever it was you originally posted, so there wasn't anything to respond to at that point. This is a busy forum, but people come in and out at all hours of the day and night, and not everyone who reads a post will be in a position to reply. Some people don't know what to say, some people are simply reading rather than replying, some people don't have a similar experience so they don't reply, but given a bit of time (20 minutes really isn't nearly enough generally), someone will come along and reply, and then another; and when you respond to their replies it starts a conversation. Takes some patience.

If you do want to delete your account, you just need to PM one of the administrators and they will take care of it within a week or so (they do batches of them at a time I believe).
Thanks for this!

If you want to delete your account you need to PM Christina86 she is the only one who does account deletions. It can take up to a couple weeks.

I agree that you need to give people more time. If people view your post but don't reply it may be because they don't know what to say, are triggered by the material, or just read and don't post. You need to give it time.
Thanks for this!

Hey ex vivo, please don't delete your account! I've done that before & here I am again! I believe you'll regret it if you do. I've been having internet connection problems recently. So I'm sorry to say I haven't been here on PC much for the past couple of weeks or so. It does take time to get to know folks here & to make friends. But, the more you post, & reply to other members' posts, the more connected to the community you will feel. I hope you'll reconsider...

I get that Lolograce. Thank you. There was so many views though and i started to imagine people were laughing at me and ridiculing my post. I think i started to have a nervous breakdown over ending with T.

Hugs to you too Skeezyks. What a beautiful fox.

It takes some getting used to here. There are some very very goodhearted souls who will support you in the way (and at the time) that they are able to.

If you stay and read, you will see who they are.

Wow! I just found this place, swrote out a long private message , only to find out I couldn't until I made 3 posts and the first post I read is yours!! My heart breaks for you!!! Life is painful. one thing I can suggest. Wherever you live , if you can find a way to get somewhere there is pure nature of some form , go there, in the quiet , and breathe in peace. All creation , all forms of pure beautiful nature soothes the weary soul and restores you until you can gain enough to face the world again. Many many many people over time in history have led us in that truth. I hope you receive the knowledge of your worth and personally I apologized for whatever happened hee. We are humansand all humans fail at some time. We are fallible. I hope this helps you. Peace and Love.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
