Hi Dr. John and company...

I had another instance this morning of getting a PM without an email. It may be a one-off thing (or possibly the email got lost in cyberspace), but since it usually works fine for me (i.e. it's not going into spam), I thought I'd raise the issue... just in case the old email problem was lurking and ready to pop back up!

PM came through around 6:30am - it looks like. I usually get an email showing me the message, but no email today.

Thanks!

Hi folks, I'm really sorry you're not getting these, but there's nothing we can do from our side. Your email provider is blocking the email, so you would need to contact them to ask them to stop blocking us from sending you these emails. Thanks!

Hi DocJohn...

Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure it's not on my end (though as I said, it's possible that *this* particular message got lost in cyberspace, I understand emails do that sometimes, and have seen it happen).

I'm sure it's not my email provider because, up until today, I *regularly* (several times a week) get emails re: PMs here. I've got a friend that I talk to several times a week, and the PM emails come through with no issues (other than the last time emails stopped working). You can look at my PM history... I think I've got >100 PMs at this point, and I've received notifications for nearly all of them with no issue (and I haven't changed email providers).

Again, it might be simply lost in cyberland, but I wanted to mention it in case others had noticed it, and in case whatever happened last time was popping back up. Just a heads up.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, due to the volume of email the community generates each day, it's difficult to troubleshoot or look into a single email that didn't arrive to a member's email box. I share your frustration of this issue, but there's nothing much more we can do about it.

If you stop getting emails for an extended period of time (e.g., days), that might be something we can look into further.

Thanks for your feedback!
