Hey guys, I got my own blog, and I was wondering how and if it notifies others that post on it, of new posts or replies. I want to use it to talk to others too, and it isn't much use if they don't know when, (if at all) to check, as I have no idea if it notifies anyone beyond me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's voidshadow.psychcentral.net like in my signature. Any info on how that works DocJohn?

I don't have an answer, but I just wanted to say I am curious about this too. Hopefully someone will come along with the answer soon.

Out of curiosity could Artchic reply to Voidshadow's blog and then see if she gets notified when Voidshadow updates it? Then you'd know from personal experience what it does since it doesn't seem that anyone knows.

If someone follows your blog by putting in their email address then they will be notified when you create a new post. I don't believe they will be notified of replies to that post. Only you will.

What about if someone posts a comment on one of your blog posts? Will you be notified if that happens?

If it's your blog and if you have the option turned on to be notified for comments you will get an email when someone posts a comment.
