ok i have been asking this question a while and i dont think i phrased the question correctly. so istead of wasting docjohns time or another moderator. i will ask you all
when in your private message inbox, you get the names of the sender and the name of the subject. do any of u get it where random names turn green? two of the senders who send me PMs are green, it ISNT coz they are in my friends list, or coz i reread them, i cant think of what else it could be. hmmm i dont get it. anyone got any ideas? take care all self

Depending upon what skin you are using here might make a difference as to what color the unread messages will show up in? IDK Neither the mods nor the admin show up in their forum colors though, for me. But there is a slight variation between read and unread messages, imo.

Selfy, I think I finally have it.
I was searching through my inbox to find a particular PM, and when I would click on a PM, the member's name, or whatever in the list then go back to it...what I'd already viewed in this particular online session was green as opposed to blue. I think that's what you're referring to. The one's that are green is where you've clicked on the name, subject, etc. I'm almost positive they all default back to blue with the next session. KD

well, that could be for a number of reasons...clearing cookies, cache might work but I wouldn't worry about it if they stay green.
i'm pretty sure that's what is going on though.  KD
