Is there a way to log into the chat room directly instead of login first and then go into chat?

Also, I seem to be a 'visitor'. Is there a difference between that and being a 'member', etc.? Thanks.

Nope. I think that's one of the safeguards here, not just anyone can come into our chats.<font color=purple>

You will not be a "visitor" long... there are set parameters, based upon how many posts you make, as to your "level" of "membership" lol

(I laugh because here I am posting again, and I really, really, really NEVER want to be a Grand Poohbah!)

Welcome.

LOL, Sky. Login to Chat I didn't want to be a grand poohbah either. Something about that title just doesn't fit me. But I guess it's a stage we must all go through if we stay around here that long.

Not if we revolt! (I've never been called revolting....)

Let's petition DocJohn... he did say he needed titles for the future levels... but we would have to give an alternate name (no pun intended) what would you suggest?

There we go! I've been trying to think of something but I don't have any good ideas. Login to Chat I'm not exactly sure what it it about "Grand Poohbah" that bugs me. It could be a little confusing to have as many Supreme Rulers running around here there are Grand Poohbahs, don't you think? I know, maybe it is that the title seems to convey the idea of power and authority, but in a joking and not real way, and it's uncomfortable to me because I don't like the idea of being told that I have power somehow when I don't. It reminds me of the way my husband always tells me, "you're the boss" but I protest that I'm not the boss and don't even want to be, but he keeps insisting. I'd go for a title that is more subdued and respectful, without implying power that doesn't exist. Know what I mean?

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy.................................................................How about "Bob"?

Definitely subdued, good honest name, understated yet deserving respect. Makes one feel instantly at ease, farmiliar, haven't we all known our share of "Bob's" in our lifetimes? In no way shape or form does it imply power.

Can't you just see everyone around here clamoring to be "Bobbed"?
