Hi,
I'm new here, and having too much difficulty posting, viewing, navigating and more...
Me:
- Samsung Galaxy 7 Android,
Google Chrome and Firefox browsers.
- Almost 2 months with this phone, and still trying to work out many quirks, so problems may be more my phone and not the site.
- I have over the years participated in message boards, but not too often, and not recently.

1). First, the simplest question:
I'm unable to view or change (in pop-up) "mood".
E.g. I tap the circle next to "anxious" and pop-up has only first box checked and visible, does not display any other mood choices.
Today I noticed another page that says
" browser does not support plug-in"
(Not exact words, I forgot, page no longer open.)

Im guessing I need to download or update some program/APP on my phone,
but am clueless exactly what it is I need to do to accomplish this.
What plug-in do I need?

2). Almost every time I post (long) message, I'm timed out.
Understable this would happen, but I can't figure out how to type in another program (eg. Word note pad) and copy paste into post box.
? Also, when typing in box, when I realize too long or decide to change or get timed out,
And want to CUT and paste part or all of message, Im unable.
When I press down on text, no option appears to cut, copy or paste.
?
I need spell-check, is there one?
Im a bit compulsive (lol) about having every word spelled perfect...
And due to my sometimes shaky hands, blurry eyesight (lack of sleep), etc. Almost impossible for me right now.
Does site have a spell-check, or way to highlight mis-spelled words as you're typing?

More questions, but I'll post later, bc I know Ill be timed out really soon.

Btw, I'm not exactly in the best frame of mind right now,
I found your site last week after my first time calling a suicide hotline,
(Bad, negative experience, the guy was rude, loud, inappropriate/unprofessional, annoyed and HUNG UP ON ME.

A 16 minute call (including wait time) I will never forget with NJ Hope Line I fond through google search. (Last Thursday).
I finally convinced myself yesterday (Monday) to call back and file some sort of complaint, and that person was very nice and apologetic.
(I'm still wondering how/why that could happen, I suppose I should be thankful (Im not) to be alive to talk about it).

Needless to say, I'm not a fan of hotlines anymore,
and(if) next time I come that close to dying and still have any hesitation, I'd rather find a stranger walking diwn the street to talk to.
(Hopefully, my experience is not the norm, but I have no experience whatsoever with this situation, and simply don't know, what people do when THEY REALLY want to be dead, and have nobody to talk to about it).
Nobody= Doctor, therapist, family member or friend.
I dont have thise, which led me to THAT hotline, which led me here.

In other words,
I was not looking for a psych website or MESSAGE BOARD
But after viewing some posts, it seemed like a nice and caring place to try to get some help/direction/information/support from.

3). Continued from above...
I wanted to use "private" browser page (firefox), but ran into even more problems there.
Does this sight require ACCEPTING COOKIES, TRACKING, AND HISTORY (it remembers you).

For obvious reasons (it's not normal to want so much to be dead),
I want suggestions on how to remain as anonymous and UN-trackable (privacy) as possible.

I know your board is public (people likely would be able to read my posts for years and years later),
And Ive learned it remembers your history,
E.g. when i started posting topic title, the title I wrote last week popped up (autofill, I guess)
Instead I'm looking for suggestions on how to hide on my phone (my frequent visits here).
(GET RID OF ALL TRACES OF WHERE I WAS AND/OR WHAT IVE WRITTEN ON MY PHONE).
For myself, down the road, if I remain alive, and/or for anybody who gets access to my phone, whether I die from natural causes or otherwise.
(Feeling depressed and suicudal,now, is not something I want to be reminded of, for the rest of my life, or for however long I own this leased phone).

Please help. I can not change mood. "Plug in not supported".
Now it says I'm aggravated.
Before it said no mood.
I've tried over and over to switch it back, and it won't.

What/where do I get "plug in"

This is a new (awful) phone, that Ive been battling to set up like my last phone for almost 2 months. Details above.

A shame Im having so much trouble viewing and posting and everything else on this site because it seems like a really great community.
I had hoped my tech support issues above would get some sort of response.
I guess Ill check back in few days.

I tried posting several times today,

At moment one of many issues driving me nuts=
Everytime I sign in the "Tapatalk for android" ad keeps popping up covering top 1/4 of screen.
There's an x on left but no matter how hard I tap it, box won't close.
And if you click view, it takes you away from board and you have to sign in again.

So basically my phone is telling me that if I dont use Tapatalk I cant be here.
I read the reviews for AP and they were really bad, so I don't want to download and use this AP.
GOOGLE and Google Play are far too intrusive.
I never have hated a phone as much as this one Sprint Galaxy 7...
Miss my Galaxy 4, just like everything in my life, that has either been lost, stolen or destroyed during past 2-3 years.

Im actually usually very good with phones and computers,
Since most of my business 10+ years is managed online.

While I think its my phone causing all these problems, it could be me, or it could be ???
But seems no matter what I try to do here, I run into a technical issue.
I cant even count how many posts I wrote today that failed for one reason or another.
Well hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Almost kind of funny and ironic that I would find a goid site like this because Im giving up on life, and just like everything else in my life,
Obstacle after obstacle, prevents me from doing whatever it is
That I want to accomplish.
I fail at everything I try to do, that might make my life a little better.

At what point, does somebody, stop listening to the repeated phrases

You need to go to your profile - look at the blue bars right at the top of Psychcentral where it says "My Profile" - you can change it in there (not by clicking on your mood next to a post - there won't be options)

Do you click "Remember me" when you log in?
If I'm replying to a thread and am logged out - when I log back in and click reply on the thread it has my typing in there.
As for cut and paste - you'd have to double tap and hold down as you would in any other program on smart phones - I think ...
Also, when you log back in - don't log in on the top right hand side of the page -
Log back in on the option in the middle centre of the page - it will say above it - "You have timed out ... log in to view this post"

I need spell-check, is there one?

When I'm on a regular computer using windows explorer if I right click on a word that is misspelt (it underlines in red) it gives me options for the correct spelling.

As for the spell checker - I did some research online for you - looks like you have to set that up on your device itself.

Go to Settings -> Language & input -> Google Keyboard.

From here, simply tap on Text correction.

To enable Auto-correct, tap on Auto-correction and choose On

Yes, automatic spell check is on, my phone says Im using a Samsung keyboard, not Google keyboard.

But just like everything else here with my phone I was unable.
.. I took sc shot of my mood error code (does not give choices, only white box without choices, because page says, "plug-in not supported".

-----> Btw, red highlight for misspelked words shows up everywhere else (when using my phone), just not on this forum...

Lol. Not intentional but I just mispelled misspell...letter k is to left of letter l on this keyboard...

My shaky hands, blurry tired eyes, and this dumb new phone with a very difficult keyboard to use, are causes.
Right now my hands arent shaking, my eyes are clear, have glasses on, but phone's keyboard still impossible for me to use...

I had a galaxy4 for years, and we got along well...
Got this Galaxy 7 in March from Sprint store in Mays Landing, NJ.
The sales person REFUSED to set it up (like they ususally do for you...and Ive been struggling ever since.!!

My life was a horror before needing a new phone (last one lost or stolen, most likely stolen)...
Struggling with the most simple basic things non-stop.. Only reinforces what I already knew, when I found this site= MY LIFE IS HOPELESS.

I solved the unable to view/change mood. I needed to install "plug-in" Adobe flash player.

I have problems with some nav stuff and spell check issues is so annoying! I think it might be just yet another fun annoyance brought to you by samsung! (LOL) takes longer to get stuff done but it my only internet connect and i also dont lke tapatalk...so ive just learned to deal w/ my phone handicap..thanx again Samsung xoxo
