Reposting the work of others

Hi I was wondering, could we post poetry we have seen that is not our own on here? Thanks just I have seen poetry and quotes ect that may be uplifting or provide hope ect, and wondered if it was ok to share even though it is not my work? Thanks.

Hi chloejayde: What I can say is I've done it & I've read poems that were posted by other members as well, & no one has ever objected that I'm aware of. I think it would just be important to credit the appropriate source.

Im guessing the answer is no because the description of this forum states...

"A place for poetry, stories, songs, and anything else inspired by your own creativity."

there is a forum for posting other news and articles by other people and the requirement for posting then and the link to them is a person has to also post how they feel about that and why they are posting it. maybe posting other peoples poetry will fit in there as long as its documented\ permission granted for posting it and, not plagiarized.

suggestion to find out for sure you might want to pm a moderator, they will know more about the rules for posting\re-posting other peoples posts\poetry from here or from elsewhere on the web.

Copyrighted materials that you do not own the rights to.
