i have noticed that the KUDOS and Affirmation forum is being used for many other things. since that is where people get hugs and strokes, more and more people are seeking support there. i think it would be good to separate the two, so that one might know what to expect in each.

That's really what the entire community is setup to do... People should use the specific forum related to their specific concern to seek support for it. Or if there is no specific forum that meets their needs, they should be using the "Other Mental Health" support forum to seek support.

Kudos is only meant for that -- acknowledging others and offering them congratulations or affirmation. It is not meant as a general support forum.

The Team will do a better job of moderating the Kudos & Affirmations Forum. We will move threads to other forums that are outside of what this forum is intended for.
