I am having a problem with a PC member. I disagree with the member, but I also believe that person violates PC guidelines with some posts. I have reported the posts, but have not received a reply. The person's posts seem to continue unchecked, and I am concerned about the possibly harmful misinformation being posted. What can I do about this problem?

We don't necessarily respond to a member who has reported a post. We look at the post and consider if the problem reported is against guidelines and we deal with it with those guidelines in mind. If you wish to hear back from a Team Member about something, you are welcome to say that in your report and we'll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Considering how many reports are made daily, it's just not possible for us to contact everyone who reports a post or member. If you like, you are also welcome to pm a Team Member to discuss the issue.

Also, please keep in mind that we would not tell you if we took action or not with the member you reported.

I hope you have found this to be helpful.
Thanks for this!

Do they violate the rules, or do they simply not parrot the mainstream "take your meds, never question your doctor" cliches?

I had people complain about me personally for the most ridiculous reasons and had joke lines edited out of my posts because oversensitive people reported them.

I hope this forum does not because rabidly pro-pharma board with superstrict policing in case somebody might get offensive (even if the somebody is person who go to great lenghts to find something to be offended about).

I don't think we should get into specific issues in this thread. There was a question asked and answered. If anyone has questions about how the Community Support Team deals with reported posts, please feel free to pm one of us and we'll be happy to chat with you.

Thanks!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
